Can I edit an evaluation which is live, and does this change the link?

Once an evaluation is distributed and has started collecting responses, you do have some limited editing capabilities.

Please note:

• Editing the evaluation does not change the link

• You will not need a new evaluation link to send to your respondents. The change is dynamic and effective immediately.

What can I change?

You will be able to:

1. Edit existing text

2. Move questions/pages

3. Edit page titles and introductions

How to Edit the Evaluation:

It is a good idea to close an evaluation to respondents while you are editing it. To do this:

• Click the [Close] button on the Manage Evaluations page. If participants try to respond while the evaluation is closed, they will receive a temporary ‘Evaluation is not live’ message until you reopen it for responses.

• Any time you need to edit the evaluation, click the [Edit] icon located to the right of the evaluation title. This opens the Edit Evaluation page and the evaluation is ready for editing.

• If the evaluation already has responses, at the top of the page you will see the following prompt:

"Only limited changes are allowed to evaluations with responses. You can clear all responses by clicking here."
