Why do I get an ‘Access Denied’ error when clicking on an evaluation link?
If you receive an ‘Access Denied’ error message when clicking on an evaluation link, this may be for the following reasons:
1) You are trying to open the link from within another website such as an e-learning tool or Learning Management System (LMS).
Many e-learning systems and LMS tools require external web links to be ‘encoded’ (ie changed into a different format) before they can be used within their systems. In this case you will need to contact the relevant e-learning systems or LMS provider to find out how to encode the web link within their system so that it becomes usable.
2) The respondent's email client is reformatting the link - Sometimes the receiving email client can automatically reformat the hyperlink as it receives the message. This results in an invalid link that defaults to an error page. Typically the solution for this is for the respondent to copy and paste the entire link directly into the web browser address bar rather than clicking on it.
