Why do respondents get the message: ‘Invalid Evaluation ID’?

If a respondent reports that clicking the evaluation link returns an ‘Invalid Evaluation ID’ message, then this indicates that one of the following has happened:

  • The evaluation was deleted, so the link is no longer pointing to an active object in our database. In this case you will need to create a new evaluation and send out a new evaluation invitation.
  • The email address to which the evaluation invitation was sent was deleted from a contact list in the Address Book. Again, the link will no longer be pointing to an active object in our database. In this case you should add the email address back into the contact list and resend the evaluation to the respondent.
  • The Email Link or Web Page/Popup Link was not correctly copied. In this case you will need to recopy the link ensuring that no part of it (usually the beginning or end) is missing.
