Changing the Settings

There are different ways you can customise your settings so that you can determine how the link and evaluation will work for respondents. There are 2 options:

Allow Multiple Responses per Computer

On the Collect Responses page, when deploying your evaluation using an Email Link or Web Page/Pop Up Link you can choose whether to allow multiple responses per computer or allow only one response per computer by choosing from the ‘Allow multiple responses?’ options. (Note: You will need to click on the [Get Link] button to see these options.)

If you choose to allow multiple responses per computer, each time the link is clicked a new, fresh evaluation will launch. This is useful where respondents share computers, eg kiosks or computer labs.

If you choose to allow only one response per computer, each time the link is clicked, the evaluation will launch with the previous response. This is useful if respondents may need to go back to/add to their response and they do not share a computer with others.

Evaluation Options

Within the Evaluation Options page you can choose to:

Choose the template (colour-scheme, text fonts etc) for your evaluation. You can choose an existing template from the dropdown list, or by clicking the [Manage Templates] button you can edit an existing template or create your own from scratch.

Set start and end dates for the evaluation. The evaluation will be ‘live’ only between these dates. Before and after these dates respondents will no longer be able to access it.

Add SSL encryption. The evaluation will be secured during transmission using Secure Sockets Layer encryption. This ensures that any private information you collect cannot be accessed by others when it is transmitted.

Display the Powered by TrainingCheck footer. This enables you to add or remove the Powered by TrainingCheck message in the evaluation footer.

Add a ‘Retake’ button to the end of the evaluation. Respondents will be able to click this button to retake the evaluation. The previous reponse will be cleared but the data will be saved in the system.

Change the Evaluation Completion Message. You can change this message to anything you like.

To get to the Evaluation Options page, open a project and click the [Options] icon to the right of the name of your evaluation.
